The Chapel | Building Gospel Centered Relationships

We exist to glorify God by building His body through lifting up and living out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God is best glorified when the church is best edified. We highlight God’s glory by living out in each other’s lives what Christ lives out to us.

Here’s how we talk about the values that drive both people and programs at The Chapel. It’s our framework for building Gospel-centered relationships.

Christ Exalting

The person of Jesus Christ is central in our worship, in our handling of Scripture, in our relationships and at the core of our day to day lives. We lift Him up and live Him out.

Heart Focused

Real change occurs on the level of the heart, so we go beyond teaching “just the truth”. We pursue the transforming work of the Gospel in a way that impacts how we actually think, love and act.

Assimilating Others

No matter where people are in their understanding of who Jesus Christ is, we desire to draw them into a deeper relationship with Him and His church. We want everyone to enjoy the “greater things” Jesus promised to His disciples.

Pursuing Christlikeness

Jesus Christ is our passion. We want to become more and more like Him in all our relationships, setting Him as first in our hearts and abiding in Him by continuing to do the things He did.

Expanding the Kingdom

Whether in the neighborhoods surrounding our homes and church building, in our schools and workplaces, or in other cities and countries, we present the Gospel through our words and deeds so that others might come into a love relationship with Him.

Lifestyle of Worship

We believe every aspect of our presence in this life can be lived out in such a way that it can be lifted up as an honorable expression of worship to Jesus Christ.
