The Chapel | Building Gospel Centered Relationships

The key to understanding our ministries begins with the realization that the focus is not on us. When we understand God’s heart, plans and purposes for His church we begin to discover how the “me” fits into His design to involve us as individuals in His greater story – the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Men

Chapel men are involved in virtually every area of ministry at our church. Yet they also meet periodically as a group for a shared adventure experience, athletic competition or outdoor work project. Using the discipleship program called “Operation Timothy”, men at The Chapel meet in twos to share God’s Word and help each other apply the Gospel in their lives. Women

Women have a unique opportunity to strengthen a church body by being devoted to God and devoted to each other. Special events, mentoring, Bible studies, women’s Sunday School classes and annual retreats draw the women of The Chapel into deeper connection with each other as they enfold Jesus Christ into their hearts and friendships. Seniors

JOYS is our senior adult ministry made up of "Just Older Youth” ages 55+. JOYS meets every third Sunday of the month at noon at The Chapel for a home-cooked lunch prepared by the JOYS ministry team. Often there is special music or a hymn sing after eating. Check out our calendar for more information.

Shut-ins

Some of our members are no longer able to make the drive to our church building so instead, the church goes to them. We help our most senior members continue on with church life through Pastor/elder visitation (offering prayer, communion and anointing with oil), children’s choir serenades, Christmas goodie baskets and our service-on-cd recordings.
